Corning-Painted Post School District to unveil 2024-2025 budget proposal

PAINTED POST, N.Y. (WETM) – The Corning-Painted Post Area School District will unveil its 2024-2025 budget proposal on Wednesday, April 17th at 6:30 p.m. The new budget will be presented at the Board of Education building on 165 Charles Street in Painted Post. The district says the meeting will not be livestreamed. The full agenda can be viewed below:

“Personal Voter Registration Day” will be held on May 7, 2024 from 12 pm to 4 pm at the Board of Education building on 165 Charles Street.

Another Budget Hearing will be held May 14th at 6:30 at 165 Charles Street.

Election and Voting Day is set for May 21st, 2024 from 11 am to 8 pm. Three Board of Education seats will also be on the ballot. Each seat is for a three-year term, from 7/1/24 to 6/30/27. The district’s website says “ Board of Education candidate names are not available yet. ”
