    Watkins Glen Public Library to host seed saving workshop

    WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. ( WETM ) – The Watkins Glen Public Library will be hosting a seed-saving workshop this weekend for those who are interested in saving their seeds for next year.

    The workshop will take place on Saturday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to noon at the library. Owner of Muddy Fingers Farm Matthew Glen and Master Gardener Debbie Ball will host the program.

    Humane Society of Schuyler County to participate in Empty the Shelters event

    During the workshop, participants will learn the science and technique behind saving seeds, as well as which seeds are the easiest to work with.

    Those who are interested in attending must register by calling 607-535-2346, emailing wgldirector@stls.org or sending a message to the Watkins Glen Public Library Facebook page .
