Horseheads’ Megan Wolf commits to Binghamton University softball

HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WETM) – Horseheads’ softball standout Megan Wolf has made her college plans.

Horseheads softball standout Megan Wolf announced her verbal commitment to Binghamton University, on Thursday. The incoming senior has been key figure in the Blue Raiders’ program for the past 3 seasons, helping the team to a 2022 Section IV Class AA title, and a runner up finish last season.

The All-State pitcher and utility player opened her varsity career, tossing a no-hitter, before batting .388, with 21 RBI, 33 runs, and 3 home runs on 38 hits, over the past 2 years.

The 3-sport (Softball, Basketball, Soccer) athlete will look to deliver more gold to Horseheads, before joining an impressive Bearcats program. Binghamton went 33-18, making a deep run in the America East Tournament.
