Addison man arrested on vehicle theft charge

CAMERON, N.Y. ( WETM ) — An Addison man was arrested after police said he was driving a stolen vehicle from Addison.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, 56-year-old Jeffrey W. Brown was arrested after a traffic stop on the charge of criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, a class D felony.

Police said Brown was driving a reportedly stolen vehicle on Jackson Hill Road in Cameron when he was pulled over.

Brown was processed in a centralized arraignment court before he was released.
