    Bath man arrested on felony charge after domestic incident

    BATH, N.Y. ( WETM ) — A Bath man was arrested last week after police said he assaulted someone and fled from the scene of a domestic incident in the village.

    According to the Village of Bath Police Department, 37-year-old Quincy Tisdale was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 13, on the following charges:

    • Aggravated criminal contempt, a class D felony.
    • Assault in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor.
    • Endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

    Police report that officers responded to a home for the report of a physical domestic where the victim told police they had their arm slammed in a door repeatedly. Police said that the incident happened when a child was present.

    The report said that Tisdale ran from the scene on foot, but was found and taken into custody. Police said Tisdale was taken to the Steuben County Jail for processing.
