One more wet day in the Twin Tiers

Elmira, N.Y. (WETM) – Hi, high! Despite the clouds, have faith that the upcoming takeaway is that the clouds will return, but sunshiny relief is on the way.

The rain will mess with our midweek, but after that it’s going to be smooth sailing for about four solid days. We are still in the throws of an area of pesky low pressure that is adding to our cloud cover woes. That cloud cover will then add to our rain woes bringing back the rain for Wednesday. After that, we get to shout our hello to our high!

The rain will be a distant memory and the sun will illuminate the rest of the week and weekend. There is a model out there that wants to bring in some rain for Sunday, but we will have to wait and see as it is several days out.

Tonight’s lows in the upper-40s and highs in the upper-60s with rain showers.
