    Three arrested in connection to June 28 shootings in Ithaca

    ITHACA, N.Y. ( WETM ) – Three men from Ithaca have been arrested in connection to two separate shootings that occurred in the City of Ithaca on June 28.

    According to the Ithaca Police Department, the arrests stem from a double shooting incident and an intentional car crash that occurred on the above-listed date.

    Two shootings, one intentional car crash happen in Ithaca on Friday

    The three men were arrested by the Ithaca Police Department on Aug. 28 on a Tompkins County Superior Court Warrant. Each of the arrests occurred at different times, and one of the men is facing more charges than the others.

    Police say that one of the men, Jeremiah Greenidge, 25, was arrested around 10 a.m. on the following charges:

    • Attempted murder in the second degree, a class B felony
    • Attempted assault in the first degree, a class C felony
    • Criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a class C felony

    Following Greenidge’s arrest, police say they arrested Daquan Graves, 31, around 1 p.m. on the following charges:

    • Attempted murder in the second degree, a class B felony
    • Attempted assault in the first degree, a class C felony
    • Two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a class C felony
    • Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, a class A-II felony
    • Two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony
    • Criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony
    • Criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a class E felony
    • Criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor

    Graves faces the additional charges after police say they executed a search warrant and found an illegally possessed and stolen handgun, a high-capacity magazine, over a half kilogram of meth, an ounce of cocaine, four small envelopes of fentanyl, packing material and a scale.

    Police say that the final man to be arrested, Rashid Mack, 25, was transported from a correctional facility and arrested on the following charges:

    • Attempted murder in the second degree, a class B felony
    • Attempted assault in the first degree, a class C felony
    • Criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a class C felony

    As a result of each of their arrests, all three of the men were returned to jail on $100,000 cash bail each.
