18 Sports Blitz – 09/06

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – The 18 Sports Blitz is back with plenty football action in the Twin Tiers.

The 18 Sports Blitz returned with a big night of high school football in the Twin Tiers. Troy and Towanda picked up big wins in the NTL, while Horseheads delivered a shutout performance in Section IV. Lucas Mosher led the Blue Raiders past Watertown, totaling 191 yards of offense, and 3 scores.

Elsewhere in the region, Sayre’s Nick Pellicano turned an impressive night, delivering 2 kick returns for touchdowns in a loss to Montgomery. Deeper in District IV, Danville outlasted Montoursville and Haverling fell to Alexander 13-12, in New York’s Section V.
