The rain that we have now will end after sunset and leave us with a few clouds to start Tuesday. But let’s talk about the tropics Wow!

There are two storms in the Atlantic that have major chances of development over the next seven days. These are worth keeping an eye on, however, all eyes are on Francine in the Gulf of Mexico that got named today. With that, our area of high pressure is acting like a forcefield and the rain will dissipate over the midsouth as it meets our dome of high pressure.

With the high pressure in place, we will literally be in the clear over the next seven days. So race day roadways will be clear as a bell. No caution flags due to weather conditions.
