Harvest Festival 2024 comes to downtown Corning next week

CORNING, N.Y. ( WETM ) – Harvest Festival is returning to downtown Corning next weekend for a two-day celebration as the fall season makes its way to the Southern Tier.

The festival will kick off on Friday, Sept. 20, with a sneak peek of what’s ahead for the main event on Saturday. From 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., attendees can stroll down Market Street and enjoy live music while they explore local food and shopping vendors in the festival area. Additionally, the 607 MotorSports Car Show will take place in the Centerway Parking Garage from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for all car lovers to enjoy.

The main event will kick off on Saturday, Sept. 21, with festivities for the whole family. Beginning at 11 a.m., Market Street will be full of opportunities for fun including face painting, balloon art, stilt walkers, hayrides, a cornhole tournament, inflatables and more.

Most of the activities at the festival will be free for everyone, with the exception of the hayrides and the cornhole tournament. The scenic hayrides with Hemlock Hidden Hames will be $5 for kids and $10 for adults. Participation in the cornhole tournament is $20 per player. Those interested in participating in the tournament can sign up to play here .

In addition to all of the activities, live music will be played on three different stages for the duration of the festival. These stages will be located at the Val Reep Fountain near Market and Chestnut St. from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Centerway Stage from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the Marich Music Stage from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
