Corning’s Gaffer District announces street closures for 2024 Harvest Festival

CORNING, N.Y. ( WETM ) – As the Harvest Festival returns to downtown Corning next weekend, Corning’s Gaffer District has announced the street closures that will be in place for the two-day event.

Beginning on Friday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m., four blocks of Market Street will be blocked off to vehicle traffic until 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, to accommodate outdoor dining, live music and on-street vendors for the festival.

During this time, the following street closures will be in place:

• Four blocks of Market Street from the intersections at Tarantelli Ln. to Wall St. and Pine St.
• Wall St., Walnut St. and Chestnut St. from Aurene Ln. to Burmese Ln.
• Cedar St. from Tioga Ave. to Burmese Ln.
