    Village of Bath awarded $50K grant for Pulteney Park upgrades

    BATH, N.Y. ( WETM ) – The Village of Bath has been awarded $50,000 in funds to make improvements to Pulteney Park through a grant program with T-Mobile.

    The funds awarded to the village come from T-Mobile’s Hometown Grant program which gives people who live in small towns and rural communities an opportunity to ma ke restorative changes to the area that they live in.

    The funds awarded to the village through this grant will be used to upgrade Pulteney Park’s electrical infrastructure, which will help to provide an event space for community events. A check presentation event for the awarded funds will be held at the Steuben County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Sept. 21, at noon.

    “Being awarded the T-Mobile grant will allow the village to make more upgrades to Pulteney Park, the center of our Historic District,” said City of Bath Mayor Michael H. Sweet. ” I can’t thank T-Mobile and all of those responsible for making this happen enough!”

    Harvest Festival 2024 comes to downtown Corning next week

    The Village of Bath is one of eight cities/towns in New York to be awarded a T-Mobile Hometown Grant since the launch of the program in 2021. Other towns that have received funds from this program include Elmira , Ithaca, Potsdam and Akwesasne.
