18 Sports Blitz – 09/13

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – The 18 Sports Blitz returned with a special episode.

The 18 Sports team delivered a special NASCAR and high school football edition of the 18 Sports Blitz. On the gridiron, Staten Island’s St. Peter’s High School outlasted the Elmira Express in a thrilling game. Elsewhere in the section, Horseheads and Corning picked up dominant wins, while Towanda, Canton, and Cowanesque Valley each earned victories in the Northern Tier.

On the track, the ARCA Menards Series opened up NASCAR weekend at Watkins Glen International. Connor Zilisch rocked the field, leading the entirety of the General Tire 100 at The Glen.
