Cue the clouds

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – There is still high pressure to deal in the Twin Tiers, so our chances for rain are next to nil for the next several days.

Sinking air and warmth are leading to little rain. Earlier this week, we were looking for what was left of the tropical feature that came ashore over North Carolina to try to make a trek north. That does not appear to be the case anymore.

We will still have dry conditions overall and if you are lucky enough to catch a spotty shower, it will do little more than make your car dirtier than it already is- no judgment. Just saying.

The next seven days will pack lots of dryness and we will be heavy on the cloud cover. We may try to get some rain in here by next week.
