18 Sports Plays of the Week – 09/24

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – It’s time for a jam packed list of highlights for the 18 Sports Plays of the Week.

The 18 Sports team showcases the top plays from the past week in the Twin Tiers. Top honors this week include 6 huge plays on the gridiron. Waverly’s Kolsen Keathley opens this week’s list with an impressive catch and touchdown against Horseheads. On the other side of the ball, Elmira’s Nolan Edwards soared through the air for a sweet interception against Vestal.

The 3rd and 4th plays on the countdown are still stunning local fans, as Kobe Foster snuck out of a trick huddle to score a Bainbridge-Guilford kick-off return. On the ensuing kick-off SVEC’s Logan Aman returned the favor, by taking a long return of his own back for 6.

In the Northern Tier, Canton’s Bailey Gardner rattled off a 44-yard touchdown run against Montgomery. Finally, in College Sprint Football, Mansfield University’s Cahsid Raymond turned a fake hand-off into a 99-yard touchdown run against Navy.
