AutoZone coming to former Dress Barn location in Big Flats

Big Flats, N.Y. (WETM) — After years of being empty, a new business is coming to fill the space of the former Dress Barn in Big Flats.

Automotive parts retailer AutoZone is coming to Consumer Square in Big Flats, Robert Switala, director of planning for the Town of Big Flats told 18 News on Wednesday.

Switala said the business will be next to PetSmart where the former Dress Barn was at 845 county Road 64.

The Dress Barn closed in early 2019 and the building has been vacant since its closure.

A permit for AutoZone has been applied for to construct renovations. It’s unknown the schedule of the project and when it will open, but 18 News will follow the process as it continues.
