SAYRE, Pa. ( WETM ) — A Monreoton man will spend time behind bars after a sentencing recently where documents said he had drugs and drug-selling materials.

Earl Ray Sites, 46, of Monroeton was sentenced to a minimum of 10 months to 42 months in a correctional facility for the charge of possession with intent to deliver between two and a half to 10 g of meth, documents from the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office said.

Police were sent to the Sayre Walmart on Elmira Street for suspicion of retail theft. Documents said when police arrived they found Sites and learned he had a domestic relations warrant out for his arrest.

Sites was arrested and when searched police found a scale, drug paraphernalia, and different amounts of meth in separate containers, suggesting it was for delivery.

Documents said Sites was already on parole at the time for a conviction of possession with intent to deliver from two separate cases from 2019 and 2020.

Sites’ sentences were added together bringing his time in jail to around 15 months to seven years, followed by more than five years of probation.
