18 Sports Blitz – 09/27

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – The 18 Sports Blitz is back with another major slate of games.

The 18 Sports Blitz returned with a big night of games across the Twin Tiers. In Section IV, Corning rocked Binghamton and Owego spoiled Horseheads’ homecoming game. In Section V, Haverling took a 35-12 win in their rivalry game over Hornell.

In the Northern Tier, Troy improved to 6-0 with a win over Wyalusing. Athens held off Wellsboro on homecoming and Sayre topped Northwest, each by the score of 21-13.
