    Corning man killed in Elmira Heights motorcycle crash

    ELMIRA HEIGHTS, N.Y. ( WETM ) – A Corning man was killed after a single motorcycle crash in Elmira Heights on Friday night.

    The Elmira Heights Police Department reports that Tyler Booth, 28, crashed on Oakwood Ave. between West 16th Street and West 17th Street on Friday, Sept. 27, around 10 p.m.

    Police say Booth was treated at the scene of the crash by the Elmira Heights Fire Department and Erway Ambulance. He was then taken to the Arnot Ogden Hospital followed by Robert Packer Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

    Police were informed by the Bradford County Coroner’s Office on Monday, Sept. 30, that Booth succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. An investigation into the incident is ongoing at this time.
