BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. ( WETM ) – An Elmira man has been sentenced to serve at least three years in a state correctional institution after he was found guilty of selling drugs in Pennsylvania.

The Bradford County District Attorney’s Office reports that Daiquan J. Bythwood, 24, was sentenced to serve a minimum of three years to a maximum of seven years for possession with intent to distribute meth.

Bythwood was also ordered to reimburse the Bradford County Drug Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police for $950 that was used as ‘buy money’ to convict him.

Bythwood was charged by the Drug Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police after he sold between 50 and 100 grams of meth to a confidential informant in the summer and fall of 2023 on multiple occasions. He was also charged by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office in February of 2024 on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Pennsylvania on this charge.
