Elmira’s Strathmont Plaza for sale for $1.8 million

ELMIRA, N.Y. ( WETM ) — A large commercial property in Downtown Elmira is now being sold for nearly $2 million.

Strathmont Plaza, located at 100 N. Main St. in the City of Elmira, is listed for sale by Howard Hanna for $1.8 million. The 47,280 square-foot plaza holds around 70 office spaces that are currently occupied by local businesses.

The listing says that this four-story-tall property at the corner of North Main Street and Water Street is a turnkey investment that requires minimal upkeep. The building has newer furnaces and cooling towers and tenants enter through a secure key fob system.

Strathmont Plaza was built in 1973 and previously sold to Mark Twain Properties LLC for $880,539 in 2003.
