Ramp closure to take place on I-86 in Hornellsville

HORNELLSVILLE, N.Y. ( WETM ) – The New York State Department of Transportation has announced an upcoming closure on I-86 in Hornellsville.

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, the I-86 westbound off-ramp at Exit 34A (Hornell) will be closed from 8 a.m. through mid-afternoon to accommodate bridge deck work. Work for this project is expected to be completed by the end of the day as long as weather permits.

Drivers should follow posted detours, expect travel delays and give themselves extra time to get to their destination. Project work is weather-dependent and may change based on weather conditions.
