Two people killed in Watkins Glen crash Sunday morning

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. ( WETM ) — Two people were killed during a two-car crash in Watkins Glen on Sunday morning.

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office, Montour Falls Rescue, and Schuyler Ambulance were called to the area of county Route 16 and county Route 17 at about 10:52 a.m. on Oct. 13 for a report of a crash involving two vehicles, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities say deputies who arrived at the scene discovered that two passengers in one of the vehicles had been fatally injured. Their identities have not been released at this time.

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation into this crash is ongoing, and an update will be released in the future.
