    One person killed after being hit by vehicle in Tioga County, PA

    TIOGA, Pa., ( WETM ) — One person is dead after a crash on Tuesday where a person was struck near the roadway, the Tioga County Coroner confirmed.

    One person was hit by a vehicle on Tuesday, Oct. 15, along Route 287 in Tioga County, resulting in the road being shut down for several hours, according to Tioga County Coroner James Daugherty.

    The individual was near the roadway when a vehicle hit them and they were confirmed dead at the scene with the coroner being called to the area.

    The incident happened between Exit US 15 North and Bradshaw Road near Tioga just after 1 p.m. Reports were out that another crash was in the area on the same road, unrelated to the fatality.
