    Mainesburg man dies in Tioga County two-vehicle crash

    RICHMOND TWP, Pa. ( WETM ) — A Tioga County man is dead after a two-vehicle crash near Mansfield Wednesday afternoon, Pennsylvania State Police confirmed.

    Police reports confirm that 75-year-old Ronald Padleski died after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on state Route 6 in Tioga County, just east of Mansfield.

    Padleski is reported to have been on route 549 at the route 6 junction just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, when he made a left turn onto route 6 to go east towards Mainesburg.

    A vehicle that was on route 6 going west toward Mansfield struck Padleski as he was making his turn, hitting Padleski’s vehicle on the driver’s side, the report states.

    State police, Mansfield Fire, and EMS arrived at the scene with Padleski being taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, police report.

    Police add that the investigation into this crash is ongoing.
