Several streets to close for paving in Corning

CORNING, N.Y. ( WETM ) – Several streets will be closed in the City of Corning to accommodate a paving project in late October.

The City of Corning Department of Public Works announced that from Thursday, Oct. 24, until Thursday, Oct. 31, the following streets will be closed with no parking allowed throughout the duration of the project:

• East Third Street from Chestnut Street to Walnut Street
• East Third Street from Cedar Street to Wall Street
• East Third Street from Conhocton Street to Canisteo Street
• West Fourth Street from Hamilton Street to Washington Street
• Highland Drive from Lexington Street to Grannan Drive

All dates and times for paving are subject to change depending on the weather.
