TONAWANDA, N.Y. ( WETM ) – A Hornellsville man has been arrested in connection to the theft of three RVs from Erie County.

James E. Nelson, 52, was arrested on Oct. 17 on the charge of possession of stolen property in the second degree, a class C felony, as reported by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say that Nelson’s arrest comes after an investigation into the report of RV’s that were stolen from Tonawanda, New York, and being stored at a location in Hornellsville. Further, it is alleged that Nelson was in possession of three stolen RVs that are worth over $50,000.

As a result, Nelson had his charges read to him in CAP court and was released.
