Northern Michigan man dies after crashing van, landing in Manistee River
WEXFORD COUNTY, MI -- A 58-year-old Interlochen man died Tuesday following a crash that took place around 3:30 p.m. in Springville Township. According to the Wexford County Sheriff, the man appears to have lost control of the van he was driving and hit a guardrail before landing in the Manistee River.

MESICK — A fatal crash closed eastbound and westbound M-115 between Hodenpyl Dam Road and M-37 in Wexford County. According to a press release from the Wexford County Sheriff’s Department, at about 3:28 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of W. M-115 and Simmons Street at the Manistee River in Springville Township.
