Traverse City woman sentenced for part in meth dealing case
CADILLAC — A Traverse City woman is headed to prison after she was sentenced for a methamphetamine-related conviction in Wexford County’s circuit court. Danielle Marie Petrie was sentenced to at least 80 months in prison and up to 40 years and at least 40 months in prison and up to 40 years with 549 days credit for guilty pleas to delivery of methamphetamine second or subsequent offense notice and possession with intent to deliver fentanyl less than 50 grams second or subsequent offense notice, respectively. The charges stem from an incident on Dec. 16 in Springville Township.
Harrietta man sentenced on weapons conviction involving a dog
CADILLAC — A Harrietta man was sentenced recently in Wexford County’s Circuit Court for his part in the shooting of a service dog. Douglas Alan Barnes was sentenced to 15 days in jail with one day credit for a guilty plea to reckless use of a weapon, a rifle. Barnes also was ordered to pay $825 in fines and $2,147 in restitution. He also was given 1.5 years of probation and he must perform 60 hours of community service.
