Appleton Art Museum to host Museum & Me program
The Appleton Art Museum and Museum is hosting the Museum & Me program for pre-K children ages 2-5 on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. This program is designed to introduce children to the museum and its unique exhibits. The event will feature story time, a visit to the galleries to view a work of art, and a visit to the Artspace to complete an art activity. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Fond du Lac County police chase of stolen SUV ends with PIT maneuver
FOND DU LAC, Wis. - A high-speed, miles-long police chase of a stolen vehicle in Fond du Lac County ended on Monday, July 22 with a PIT maneuver and two arrests. On that Monday, Fond du Lac County deputies were made aware of a pursuit that had just occurred with the SUV in Winnebago County. The deputies set up on roadways leading into our county to attempt to locate the vehicle.

I-41 Expansion Continues, Highway 15 On Ramp Closed
The I-41 expansion project between Appleton and De Pere is now entering its 18th week, and there are only a couple of traffic notes this week. The DOT is warning motorists that the Southbound on ramp from Highway 15 will be closed tonight (July 29th) between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. and that there will be overnight reduced lanes in work zones all week.

TRIPOLI – Governor Tony Evers visited Tripoli in Lincoln County last week to highlight the investment of state funds into improving a county road. On Thursday, July 25, Evers and Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Assistant Deputy Secretary Joel Nilsestuen made a stop on County Hwy. YY at the intersections of Squaw Creek Rd. and Lost Ave., where they discussed the roughly $3.5 million allocated to Lincoln and Price counties to revamp the county road.
