Hearing for Waynesboro murder suspect continued until September
WAYNESBORO, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Waynesboro man charged in a fatal shooting last Tuesday morning will remain behinds bars at least until his next court hearing. Jacob Preston Sipe faces two charges, including second degree murder, in connection with the death of 33-year old Trevor Hill of Waynesboro, who was found dead on the front porch of a home in the 400 block of James Avenue. A bond hearing scheduled for Thursday in Waynesboro General District Court was continued until September 10. Sipe, who injured in the incident, was arrested and charged with two felonies, including 2nd-degree murder, once he was released from Augusta Health. He is currently in Middle River Regional Jail.
