I have seen this first hand with kids in school. The look on their face when they have their hot meal taken away and given a nasty sack luch is heartbreaking. A sun butter sandwich is a fake peanut butter sandwich which is about the size of a half sandwich. It's disgusting. Districts pay millions for new football stadiums and hundreds of thousands of dollars to so called top brass . But can't find the funds to help a child have a hot meal because their parents are struggling financially. This is disgusting and these school districts need to get their priorities straight and put kids and their meals first . Shame on you school districts for embarrassing and belitting children who have no control over their lunch accounts being paid.
