WATCH: Kayakers spook small shark in Dunedin

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A pair of kayakers gave a small shark quite the scare in Dunedin early Tuesday morning.

Drone operator John Yanchoris captured the shark’s frightening moment around 8 a.m. near the Dunedin Causeway.

Video shows the shark swim toward the two kayakers, but quickly darts away as the pair moves closer to the sea creature. Yanchoris followed the shark as it swam through the water, weaving between kayakers.

Yanchoris has a YouTube channel where he posts his drone videos .

In the description of his YouTube channel, Yanchoris said he’s a former firefighter who has done drone work for local fire departments, as well as anyone who needs aerial footage of their homes or special events.
