TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who may be considering self-harm, the sheriff’s office announced Tuesday.

Sheriff Al Neinhuis said they are looking for David Lamar Brown, 69, in the area of Batten Road between Deerfly Road and Family Lane.

Patrol deputies, K9 teams, drones and aviation are searching the area.

The sheriff’s office is asking residents in the area to call 911 if they see Brown, who is described as 6 feet tall and weighing 225 pounds. He was last seen in a white and blue striped tee shirt that is ripped in the back with blue shorts and no shoes.
