Tampa cop arrested for DUI during traffic stop in Pasco County: TPD

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Tampa police officer was “immediately relieved of duty” after he was arrested Friday night on charges of driving under the influence, according to the Tampa Police Department.

Corporal Jesse Horn was pulled over at 6:30 p.m. by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office on southbound US Highway 19, near Glissade Drive in New Port Richey.

Police said Horn was off-duty and was the only one in the vehicle.

Horn was hired in 2007 by the department, but was relieved of duty pending the outcome of the investigation on Friday, officials said. Police will also conduct an internal investigation.
