Officials investigating after 2 bodies found in Pasco County

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — An investigation is underway after deputies found two bodies in New Port Richey, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office announced.

In a social media post , the sheriff’s office said deputies were conducting a death investigation in the Tanglewood area when the two deceased adults were found.

Officials said one of the victims appeared to have taken their own life.

The sheriff’s office said no known public safety threat exists at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
