Supervisor of Elections websites back up after Florida primary outages

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Supervisor of Elections websites across the Sunshine State experienced outages on Tuesday during Florida’s primary elections.

In the Tampa Bay area, elections supervisor websites for Hillsborough, Pinellas, Sarasota, and Manatee counties experienced outages, leading to issues accessing official results for the primary and school board elections happening across the area.

The issue stemmed from a vendor, VR Systems, who services election supervisor sites across the state, NBC affiliate WESH reported .

WFLA reached out to VR Systems and is waiting for a response.
