    2 dead in Citrus County crash after motorcyclist runs stop sign

    HOMOSASSA SPRINGS, Fla. (WFLA) — A motorcyclist and a passenger are dead following an afternoon crash at a Citrus County intersection on Saturday.

    According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 79-year-old Brooksville man on a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on Dixieland Street, just north of Homosassa Springs, when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of US-19.

    Motorcyclist strikes pickup, dies after he is ejected from bike, FHP says

    Troopers said the man was struck by a 51-year-old Homosassa woman in a Nissan Altima, who was traveling northbound on US-19.

    Both drivers and a 69-year-old female passenger in the Altima were taken to nearby hospitals.

    FHP said the motorcyclist and passenger died from their injuries.

    This is why everybody at age 75 And up every few yrs should have written and road test done too may are on medication. And don’t pay attention people don’t pay attention. And kids 16 to young to drive they should be 18 when their brains are A little more developed ..
