Is Publix open Labor Day 2024?

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Labor Day is in full swing, and many Americans are enjoying a long weekend to celebrate their hard work.

While most of us have the day off, you may realize you’re down one ingredient for your cookout today or just need to hit the store for your weekly groceries.

In the classic Florida fashion, a lot of us will stop by our neighborhood Publix.

But are they open today?

Thankfully, yes.

Publix locations in the Tampa Bay area are operating on regular hours for Labor Day this year. However, their pharmacy is closed, so you’ll just have to wait an extra day to grab your medicine.
