PORT ORANGE, Fla. (WFLA) — Port Orange police body camera footage shows a man accused of armed carjacking and kidnapping running into a Wawa store and grabbing an employee.

It started with an incident in Daytona Beach where Deyquann Foster, 35, got into the back seat of a car, pointed a gun at the driver’s head and told her to drive, according to Port Orange police.

Officers spotted the car in Port Orange and tried to pull it over. It stopped at a Wawa gas station, where the suspect got out of the car and ran into the store.

Police said Foster grabbed an employee that was stocking shelves. They were not hurt in the incident.

Foster got down on the ground after being followed into the store by an officer, who placed him in handcuffs and removed a gun from his waistband.

He was charged with kidnapping, armed car jacking, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, battery and resisting arrest without violence.
