VIDEO: Homeless man beats, stabs Florida parkgoers who offered food

INDIANTOWN, Fla. (WFLA) — A disturbing video shows a homeless man attacking victims at a Florida park after they offered him food, rather than money, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Jerquavious Jackson, 22, asked some parkgoers for money when the two victims told him that they couldn’t give him money, but could offer food instead.

That’s when the suspect exploded into a “violent rampage,” as he began attacking and stabbing the victims, according to the sheriff’s office.

The video shows Jackson swiping at the camera, before angrily kicking a canned beverage. The suspect then takes the second victim’s bike to strike the man, before throwing several punches, as the two wrestle to the pavement.

Jackson is seen picking the victim up and body-slamming him on the concrete ground.

The sheriff’s office said Jackson fled on the victim’s bike and was shortly located at a nearby Circle K store, “as if he was looking for other victims to rob,” as he was found armed with a box cutter stained with dried blood.

Jackson was arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
