ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A vehicle caught on fire after striking a building in St. Pete on Saturday night, according to St. Petersburg Fire Rescue.

Firefighters said it wasn’t the building that was on fire, it was the car. While the building had exterior damage, the fire did not spread inside.

“It appears the driver lost control on a curve and crashed into the side of the building,” officials said.
