Tampa Bay Buccaneers announce German partnership

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expanding their reach abroad. Team leaders will announce a new German partnership Monday.

The team has previous ties to Germany, in 2022, the Bucs played the NFL’s first regular season game in the country. They were awarded marketing rights in Germany as part of the NFL’s International Home Marketing Areas program in 2021.

According to team leadership, the multi-year deal will be the first of its kind for both organizations.

Owner Bryan Glazer, Tampa International Airport officials, and members of Visit Tampa Bay will gather for a ceremony Monday afternoon.

The announcement is scheduled for 3:30 in Terminal F at Tampa International Airport.
