RIDGE MANOR, Fla. (WFLA) — Deputies are searching for a man in Ridge Manor who ran from a possible burglary Monday, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office announced.

The sheriff’s office said the possible burglary happened on Reynolds Street and Dale Anne Drive.

The man is armed with a knife, according to officials, and is described as white and balding with no shirt and wearing blue jean shorts.

The sheriff’s office said the man jumped into the river while fleeing, possibly in an attempt to get into Pasco County.

If you see this man, the sheriff’s office is asking you to call 911.
