3-day country music festival coming to Raymond James Stadium

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A new three-day country music festival is coming to Raymond James Stadium in 2025.

The venue announced on X , the platform formerly known as Twitter, saying the stadium will become “Tampa Bay’s home of Country Music in 2025.”

“Raymond James Stadium becomes Tampa Bay’s home of Country Music in 2025 with the arrival of a massive three-day Country Music Festival coming next May,” the venue’s post reads. “Stay tuned for a major announcement coming soon! See you all in May 2025!”

WFLA.com learned that US103.5 is the official media partner for the upcoming festival, with Program Director Ashley Morrison saying the event would feature “country music’s biggest stars.”

“US103.5 is very excited to be the official media partner for the massive three-day country music festival coming to Tampa in May,” the station said in a statement to WFLA.com. “Stay tuned for a major announcement as one of North America’s most beloved music festivals makes Tampa home – this is going to be incredible for country music fans in Tampa, and the state of Florida and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of it.”

103.5 said they cannot reveal details about which stars would be showcased during the festival.

The announcement comes on the heels of the 2024 Country Music Association award nominations , with Morgan Wallen grabbing seven nominations to lead all artists.

Notably absent was Beyoncé, whose landmark country-and-then-some reclamation “Cowboy Carter” was released during the eligibility window and hit No. 1 on the Billboard country albums chart.

The 2024 CMA Awards will air on Nov. 20 on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern. It can be streamed the next day on Hulu.
