Barberitos burritos coming to Temple Terrace September 19

TAMPA, FL (BLOOM) – Tampa Bay is about to get a taste of Southwestern goodness as Barberitos, a popular fast-casual restaurant known for its fresh, customizable burritos and bowls, opens its first location in the area on September 19, 2024. The new restaurant, situated at 7021 E Fletcher Ave in Temple Terrace, is owned and operated by local brothers Matt and Austin O’Neill, who are eager to bring their passion for vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients to their hometown.

“We’re beyond excited to introduce Tampa to its very first Barberitos,” said Matt O’Neill. “Our ingredients are fresher, our veggies are tastier, and our guac and salsas are absolutely delicious-er. Barberitos will be celebrating its grand opening with an exciting event featuring exclusive giveaways. The first 100 guests in line on opening day will receive free Barberitos for an entire year. Additional prizes and promotions will be offered throughout the opening weekend.

The menu at Barberitos offers a fresh take on Southwestern cuisine, with ingredients like hand-smashed guacamole, freshly chopped veggies, pasture-raised beef, hormone-free chicken, and hand-grated all-natural cheese. Guests can fully customize their meals, choosing from burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, and salads. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the new location will cater to students, professionals, and families in the Temple Terrace area and beyond. Barberitos’ debut in Tampa Bay marks the beginning of potential expansion plans, with the O’Neills scouting future locations in Riverview, Wesley Chapel, and Odessa.
