TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – With tropical moisture hanging around the Gulf of Mexico, downpours develop and push onshore through the day. The rain chance is 50%, especially in the afternoon and early evening.

It stays quite humid with highs near 90 degrees today. The rain chance increases to 60% tomorrow, and watch for some morning showers along the coast. Those storms spread inland through the day.

Upper level drier air arrives Sunday, and it limits the afternoon rain chances to just 30%. It stays warm and humid with highs in the low 90s.

Rain chances remain slightly below normal for most of next week. There will still be afternoon showers, but the coverage will be limited.

Perhaps a tiny dip in humidity next week, but it still feels hot with highs near 90 degrees.

Tropical Depression 7 may develop into a tropical storm, but it remains a “fish storm.” Two other tropical waves have small chances to develop in the Atlantic.
