A few coastal showers are possible through the morning on Saturday, especially in Citrus, Hernando and Pasco County. Showers and storms will be scattered through the middle of the afternoon before moving inland allowing the coast to dry out after 3 pm.

Temperatures will warm into the low 90s with a mixture of sun and clouds outside of any storms.

Although there is a 20% rain chance throughout the day on Sunday, the showers that do form will be light and short-lived. Temperatures will still be warm and muggy with highs in the low to mid-90s.

Rain chances stay relatively low through the middle of the upcoming week with just 30% each day. Moisture will slowly return Thursday and into the weekend increasing chances once again.

Tropical Storm Gordon continues to spin in the central Atlantic and will do so for the next week or so. It is not currently a threat to the United States.

There is a medium chance of tropical development off the Carolina coastline. An area of low pressure could develop and acquire tropical characteristics.
