    Holiday man snorts cocaine to hide evidence after fleeing troopers: FHP

    HOLIDAY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Holiday man arrested for fleeing troopers and having cocaine, is also facing tampering with evidence charges after snorting the drug.

    Around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the Florida Highway Patrol tried to pull over a driver who was speeding on US-19 near Mile Stretch Road. However, he fled troopers and led them on a pursuit.

    Man arrested again for stealing diesel for 2nd time in a month in Tampa

    Officials followed the driver, 40-year-old Joel Craig Wallace, to his Holiday home on Kibler Lane, before ramming into his vehicle to end the pursuit.

    Wallace was arrested for fleeing and eluding, possession of cocaine, and tampering with evidence, given that he ingested the drug.
