    Driver dies after colliding with light pole on I-4 in Plant City

    PLANT CITY, Fla. (WFLA) — A driver was killed in a crash on Interstate-4 in Plant City on Sunday night.

    The Florida Highway Patrol responded to I-4 westbound near mile marker 18 at 10:47 p.m. for the single-car crash.

    A man from Gibsonton was driving a Cadillac Escalade when he lost control of the SUV, left the roadway and collided with a light pole.

    He suffered fatal injuries at the site of the crash.
